With the release of a new entry in the Smash Bros. franchise on the horizon, SmashG hopes to hold their first major of 2018 at AGF2018. The theme of the year is centred around bidding farewell to the game which helped many of us get started, to this end, we aim to create awareness of the franchise, the new game on the horizon and by extension, the switch platform, itself with our various tournaments and activities.

Building on last year’s success with Carnage on Campus, Infinite Carnage SG aims to take that further beyond by adding some other fighting games with scenes consisting of passionate players that lack support. Coming on board are Airdasher SG and Killer Instinct Asia, to help in bringing together the inaugural Summer Budokai at the equally new Asia Game Festival!

Returning this round are Marvel VS Capcom Infinite, with BlazBlue in its latest iteration as BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. Joining them are Them’s Fightin’ Herds, Killer Instinct and last but certainly not least, Dragon Ball Fighter Z! The Tournament of Power will look like a snoozefest compared to what we’ll have in store for you this time!

Do you have what it takes to be the last squad standing on Fearless Fiord? Join the top teams in Singapore in this two-day extravaganza and win for yourself some cash and prizes.

Be part of the Minecraft community at Asia GAME Festival.

Ever wanted to learn how to make mods in Minecraft to show your friends? In this workshop, learn how to create your very own mod together with some basic coding skills in our Minecraft workshop. You will be able to create exciting things like special blocks and weapons to play around with! Come dressed as a Minecraft character and join the costume competition or challenge others at our tournaments to win Minecraft diamonds.

We’re also hosting the annual National Digital Arts Championship, where competitors can unleash their creativity in the exciting world of Minecraft.

Guardians of the City is a Total Defence strategy card game that helps students recognise the complexity of terror threats and how they can play their part to keep Singapore safe and secure. The GOTC tournament at CGF will see 64 teams of five pitting their strategies and game play against each other in a round-robin format.

Students will be provided with training and participants are given the chance to apply teamwork skills, develop a healthy competitive spirit and learn that fulfilling individual roles are key factors in winning the game.

Campus Game Fest (CGF) has grown to be Singapore’s largest gamers’ party in the past 5 years. Thanks to the support from the gaming community. Our commitment to the local gaming scene has not changed with the new Asia GAME Festival (AGF) partnership.

The (AGF) partnership will see more than 10 gaming communities and its fans come together under one roof. The goal is to grow the gaming community and promote a culture of mutual respect and friendship, with the aim of building Singapore’s reputation as a gaming hub.

CGF is an initiative spearheaded by Singapore’s CyberSports & Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) and Institute of Technical Education (ITE), produced by CyberAthlete Professional League (CPL). Positioned as the biggest internet party for Singapore youths, CGF is filled with digital lifestyle activities in the areas of Games, Arts, Media & Edutainment. Its objectives for the youths are to promote creativity, innovation and cultivate cyber wellness through a balanced and healthy lifestyle approach.
